Denys Shmyhal nominated Vadym Gutzeit for the post of Minister of Sports of Ukraine.
Vadym Gutzeit also had a chance to work in the Verkhovna Rada. Not as an MP, however, but as an MP's assistant. He was an assistant to Elbrus Tadeiev in the 5th and 6th convocations of the Verkhovna Rada. Tadeiev was an MP from the Party of Regions, and Gutzeit worked for him in 2006–2012.
