Usyk – Witherspoon

On October 12, Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk defeated 38-year-old American Chazz Witherspoon.

The boxers met in the US, in Chicago, at the Wintrust Arena. For Usyk, this was his first fight in the heavyweight division.

For this fight, Usyk came out in shorts with the inscription "Liza" on the back of the waistband. That is the name of Oleksandr's daughter. On the sides were the inscriptions "Simferopol" and "Ukraine".

From the very start of the sixth round, Usyk actively went forward. And the round ended with Usyk "driving" his opponent into a corner of the ring. But the American held on. But not for long. After the seventh round, he refused to continue the fight. So Usyk won ahead of schedule.
