Racism at the Shakhtar – Dynamo match
On November 10, the central match of the 14th round of the UPL, Shakhtar – Dynamo, was stopped because of racist chants by Kyiv ultras directed at the Brazilians.
Dynamo fans began shouting offensive chants, as a result of which the referee stopped the game and took the teams off the pitch. Shakhtar midfielder Taison could not restrain himself, went up to the sector where the away fans were sitting, kicked the ball at the stands and made an obscene gesture.
However, the match resumed 7 minutes later. Taison immediately received a delayed red card for the obscene gesture towards Dynamo fans.
