Olha Kharlan is a Ukrainian sabre fencer and Olympic champion of 2008 and 2024. Kharlan is also:
- a three-time Olympic bronze medalist (2012, 2016 and 2024);
- a silver medalist of the 2016 Olympic Games;
- an eight-time European champion.
Olha Kharlan is the most decorated Ukrainian female athlete, having won 6 Olympic medals.

Kharlan has been in a relationship with Luigi Samele since 2019. The Italian fencer proposed to the Ukrainian in 2024. The couple became parents on June 14, 2026, when Kharlan and Samele had a daughter, Arianna.
