"Dynamo" Cultural and Sports Club

A hockey club from Kharkiv, Ukraine. Founded in July 1979, it ceased to exist in 1992, was revived in 2012, ceased to exist again in 2014, and was revived in 2017 as Youth Hockey Club Dynamo. It plays in the Ukrainian Hockey League championship.

It plays its home games at the Saltivskyi Lid Ice Arena (Kharkiv). The club's colors are white, red and blue.

It was founded in July 1979 on the basis of the youth squad of Moscow Dynamo. It took part in two USSR championships in the top league (1989, 1990).

In 1992, the club was disbanded due to financial difficulties. In 2008, the team was revived under the name Kharkiv Sharks. Until mid-2011, the Kharkiv team took part in various amateur competitions. On June 16, the Sharks won the amateur tournament, the Kharkiv Open Championship Dafi Cup. At about the same time, a decision was made for the club to take part in the Ukrainian PHL championship. On July 25, the Kharkiv Sharks were admitted to the founders of the PHL. A children's hockey school operates on the basis of the club.

In 2017, the club was restored to take part in the Ukrainian Hockey League championship.
