A Ukrainian professional boxer competing at light welterweight (up to 63.5 kg) and lightweight (up to 61.2 kg). Silver medalist of the Olympic Games (2012), silver medalist of the World Championships (2011), bronze medalist of the Summer Universiade (2013), two-time Ukrainian champion (2013, 2014). Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine in boxing.

In 2015, the Klitschko brothers' promotional company K2 Promotions signed a contract with Berinchyk.WBO Oriental lightweight champion (up to 61.2 kg).
